So Anyone Else Think LOP is Totally it’s own Metaverse?

You all are like, what are you talking about?

Stay with me. I recently watched a reaction video for the Metaverse commercial, and as the creator pointed out during one of the segments, why would I play cards with my friends in a virtual house when I can just play with them in real life?! And as I’m sitting there, laughing in complete agreement with that observation, that’s when it hit me. It’s LOP!

Just like the FB Metaverse, we get to customize our home, palace, avatar. Choose our favorite confidants and partners. We have a whole new set of friends called guildies, that we chat with in-game and on some other chatting service, like Discord. And there are people all over the world pouring money into it to “own” things they can’t have in real life! No wonder why Zuckerberg was like “man, I need to get in on this market.” 😂

Now while this revelation may be a rude a awakening for some, or like me, you’ve begun to consider how much actual money you want to continue putting into the game moving forward, I think there is a key difference between Metaverse and LOP that is vital to understanding the human physic. And that’s this:

LOP is an escape from your reality, not your reality digitized.

Being the gamer that I am, I love me an engaging RPG with some element of strategy involved because it tantalizes my brain. 😆 I get to be creative, play pretend, practice ethics. Can’t get enough of it. And especially now that I’m limited to mobile games with the Littles running around, LOP has offered me everything in a nice little package. (And I did the math, I figured out that I would’ve spent all the money I put into LOP to date on Nintendo Switch games, if I was able to play the Switch more regularly.)

I’m not bringing this up to scare you away from playing to game! I’m just making you aware of my observation so you can play smarter and be cognizant as to why LOP may be a more addictive game to you than others out there.
