Literary Scholar Event Rant

Biggest complaint, how it really isn't your scholar against another’s. It ultimately came down to how powerful your supporting partners over all are.

Betting was fun, reminiscent of the Hunger Games, but rather predictable to determine a winner, since you can watch battle replays to see how the opponents attributes stacked up against another. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The timing for the start of each battle and the distribution of rewards is odd and rather nerve wracking for the first time you participate in it. It’s literally seven days of nothing but waiting around for things to happen.

Oh and for the top tier Leader Academia contenders, there are times it feels like the developers purposely pair all the lowest powered people with the highest powered people in order to eliminate all the pions right off the bat. I know it's not  a hard fast rule, but it really irritated me the first two times I participated in the event. It was like didn’t even have a chance at progressing through the elimination round, even when my cabinet scholar's attributes were stronger than my opponents'. I was beaten only because their supporting team was stronger than mine!

All that being said, if I could make one suggestion for this event it would be to make it more of a one-on-one match between everyone's cabinet scholars.

Side note and strategy tip if you want to do well in this event going forward. One, focus on making your caninet scholar one of your top partners. And two, make sure you take advantage of stacking your supporting team based on their highest potential category. Meaning, if your partner with a political/authority specialization has higher potential in politics then put them in your politics supporting team lineup rather than the authority one.
