No, but in all seriousness, I gave up trying to get her long ago once I figured out what was required and many failed attempts to even get a kill shot. 😒 So what changed my mind?
Let me tell you. I think it was some time in January, I don’t know if I was late to the party or what, but I randomly got my highest partner after watching the ad for a revival and got the kill shot with him. And it got me thinking. 🤔 If my top guy can take out .9% damage on average, maybe Rong is more obtainable than I previously thought. And thus began the almost daily ritual of waiting and watching for Rong to get down below to that last 1%.
My main strategy though was using up all my war tokens. 😅 I was sitting on a fair amount of them, and have reached the point in the story where they are no longer beneficial to me, so why not put them to use here. 😅 Yes, I wasted a couple, getting trigger happy here and there and pressing the button too soon. And I had to buy more in order to obtain my goal, and did so at a time where spending ingots had a payout (ie. Fruit Fairy). But it was totally worth every ingot spent on war tokens for me! 😄
Not sure if that method works for everyone, but if you’ve got one unbeatable partner, a ton of war tokens lying around and really want Matron Rong in your partner stack, then I recommend giving it a shot! 🤓
