Happy Halloween From Tokyo (Debunker)

I’m quite excited for the season finale in TKDB tonight! Who Killed Robin? Act 2

I’m anxious to find out what happens after the cliff hanger from episode 21, Rui and Haku’s backstory, The Clash and what’s next in season 2!

I can’t get this song out of my head:

My boys are dressed for the season and have some of the best comments to make on the Home Screen:

And yes, as you can see I have 4 accounts now. 😅 I’ll chat about that more next.

So yeah, FOUR accounts, thanks to a friend on EA-22 who shall remain unnamed. 😆 Though “accounts” is probably a loose term here. I’m just playing on four different servers. At first, and I may have alluded to this in a previous post, I was opposed to the idea because I thought it would be like LOP level maintenance. However, it’s really not too bad after the initial setup day. And I now personally understand the appeal of alternate accounts, so I’ll discuss some of them below.

So in addition to 22 I’m also on 31, 32, and 33 with different usernames, as shown in the pictures above (31 - The Girl On Fire, 32- Fake Mockingjay, 33- Lex Jay Luthor). 22 will forever be my main home, but it’s interesting how the vibes of the different servers and the new friends you meet grow on you over time.

The story as to why I created them in the first place? Well about a month ago, I had been looking into an alt account, mostly to see if I could help out my guild on 22. (Side note, Apple’s app store doesn’t have the “paid” version of the app that apparently Google’s Play store does, so there’s no way for me to have two accounts on the same server. 🙃 I have thought of one last possible solution, but I don’t exactly want to execute it, especially now that I have my 3 alts.) So when all that failed, I decided to join a fishing guild that a fellow friend on 22 had created on 31. Repeat two more times, and that’s how I ended up with the 4 “accounts.” 🤪

On to my findings:

1) I get to fan accounts!

So if I haven’t stated this previously, my three favorite ghouls are Luca, Rui and Haku. However, trying to obtain and then maintain all three of their respective SSRs on my mostly F2P main account has become a bit overwhelming, burdensome and expensive! (I have also officially quit gambling with real money after I put some in and the game DIDN’T give me the card I wanted 😭😭😭) BUUUT if you have four “accounts” on various servers, there’s a better chance for you to have your desired ghoul and eat your cake too!! Emphasis on better chance, because you truly never know what you’re going to get or not get. 🙃 (PLEASE LET ME HAVE VAMPIRE RUI ON 31!!!! 😭)

So now I have Luca, Rui and Haku fan accounts, and then the basic summons only account where I let the game give me whatever it wants. 🤭 My main account is Luca and specific team building cards to fill out my stack, 31 is for Rui, 32 is Haku, and 33 is the Russian roulette one. (It also helps me keep my accounts straight, so I don’t get confused hopping around. 😅) Why I love this is because it gives me the chance to recoup spent diamonds between card drops, and time to level up my main SSR cards properly. My main account 22 is a bit of an exeception here since I now have 7 SSRs now, 3 that I’m hoping to max out as they pass through, buuuuut there are so many tempting Luca and good cards I want! 🙃What am I supposed to do?!?! 😰 LOL. JK! I’ll survive!

So even though I can’t have this maxed out Haku on my main, I’m so thrilled I have him on 32 (and yes, his nickname is Fat Haku)! And same thing for Rui!

Plus, it’s fun to see what it’s like to only focus on one SSR since I didn’t do that/still trying to do that on 22. It’s been slow growing on 22, and bit tedious. 😩 But I’m bound and determined to have AT LEAST one of my main cards be the most powerful of that card. (Because yes there’s a ranking on each character card.) Not sure when or how I’ll do it, but I’m working on it!

2) You get to experiment with team builds.

So yes, since my main card's skills will most likely differ between accounts, my teams will also differ. And the more I play, the more I begin to understand how team building works, and how wrong I was in the beginning. 🙃 Plus, it’s fun to explore and experiment with those different build options. Though sometimes I think you just have to wait for your team to be strong enough to clear a case and that may take a few days.🙂 And you know what? I think that’s okay.

And 3) the people you get to connect with.

Why is say this is because I now get to be in guilds with players I can’t be with on my main account. 😆 And being an extrovert, I love getting to chat with them and the new people we collect from the different servers too. It’s given me the opportunity to improve my own leadership skills in the game, just by seeing their different and various styles and expertises. But of course nothing beats the bond of guild friendships. 😊

Well, I think that about sums up my thoughts on Tokyo Debunker for this month. So until the next, Happy Halloween, have fun and be safe! 🎃
