Aaaannnddd I won’t be making zongzi this week once again. 😩 Travel plans and all sorts of other insanity kind of messed me up this year. But I may try to make them upon my return. Maybe do a one -of-each-kind too and ultimately decide if I like salty or sweet zongzi more. 😉
For starters, I just wanted to say that while I still miss the original boat mini game from three years ago, I am doing ALOT better on the new one this time around. I think last year I was trying make sure the drum stick was hitting the drum on the beat and could never get it. This year I decided to tap the drum with my finger. And well, it’s paying off significantly! 😄 Proof in the photo above. I also feel like the ingot ratio isn’t bad, even if you are pulling 3rd. But we should know by now to never trust my LOP math. 🤣
I’m also a HUGE fan of the task driven frame and chat box skins. I wish so many more things were task driven in LOP. 😭 Oh well, such is life. Still haven’t quite figured out what I’m going to get for my points yet, but I am dropping my ingots for this event. I kind of want the special outfit, but I also really want to complete the Summer Thunder scene set from last year. 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve got time to ultimately decide. I was sort of hoping they would have Land items for this event, but they don’t... I guess that will make my decision somewhat easier. 😏
In other news, it sounds like my guild, Celestials, may be merging with another one here soon. It’s like this weird bittersweet thing for me. I’ve spent so much of my LOP life trying to get into Celestials and the soaring at the top with them. It’s just sad that it’s time to move on, because it reminds me of all the players who have left. 🥲 But online games are like that aren’t they? And maintaining a strong longevity is what matters at this point, right?
I am kind of happy they FINALLY opened real cross server guild joining, but it also kind of marks the end of an era in LOP in my mind. Much like the server merges did. LOP is no longer as simple as it once was. And honestly, I kind of like it. It keeps me on my toes.
Let’s see what else has happened since I last posted? 🤔 I took third place in CS Debate this last round. I was really proud of that, since it’s the most points I’ve ever increased in any debate event ever (Though I do still feel slightly cheated out of my second place spot. 😏 The player knocked me down and beat me by 100 points in the last 2 minutes. And I had already used up everything at that point... 😩 Note to self for next time, wait to pass people so they don’t have enough time to recover. 😉😏)
