Graceful Landscape Event Recap

Alright, so I thought this was an odd event. Not just the mini game itself, but the rewards were kind of bizarre too.

First off, I still don’t entirely understand why Duke Xun got a fancy make over. (Full on Confidant status in that outfit. 😏)

In general, the Dukes haven’t been my main priority, and even then, I’ve prioritized Zhi and Jing. When I saw this was Xun’s skin, my first impression was like “this is like releasing a personalized skin for Prince Gong.” 😂 (I love that guy!) But I’m guessing most people haven’t prioritized either Duke or Prince as the one of the four in each grouping to pour all their resources on. I mean, sure an authority boost for him is nice... But why not all of his attributes, like all the other partner skinz? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway, with all that said, it’s no surprise that I decided to pass on going all out on this event.

And even more so after playing the mini game a couple of times. I’m even more grateful for just using my free chances and buying one round. It’s not that I did poorly at the mini game. It actually reminded me of a mini game in Banjo Kazooie I kind of enjoyed. (The ground pounding into the shell of each turtle got tedious after two rounds...) Back to LOP! I got a perfect score every time. However, after doing the math, I didn’t feel like anything in the point shop was worth playing 60 some odd rounds for. (Not to mention draining my ingot stash on the heels of Qi Xi festival.)

So I grabbed those two items, for CS coming up in a couple weeks.

I went back and forth on the frame. The charisma potential boost for all the partners would have been nice... But as previously stated, just not worth the time and ingots for.

Though I have been in a spending ingots sparingly mode for special events as of late. I’m more interested in improving things throughout the game, such as Pigeon Mail and the Academy, more so than I am collecting another title or outfit. I mean, let’s be real, I have more outfits in my LOP closet than I know what to do with and one too many titles to figure out which one to have next to my username. Plus, it kind of takes a little bit of the pressure off when I see a new event pop up.

Speaking of, I’m curious to see how my Confidants do in the Grandiose Ceremony. I’ll chat about my findings once it’s done. Chao! 🙂
