When I saw this event was released in Asia a week or so before our two year anniversary event, I thought it looked interesting, but no one was sure when it was going global. And to be honest, I wasn’t sure I wanted to add another partner/confidant to my stack so soon.
Then the event launched last week and I blew all caution to the wind. 😅 I don’t know, I just saw what was required to get certain items and went with it. I knew from the start I wanted the Little Mountain Usnea and the palace scenes, but with the amount of points obtained to gain access to the next tea, my points multiplied exponentially, to the point where I was just like “might as well get everything.” 🤷🏻♀️🤣
And yes, while I feel a tad overwhelmed with new partners at the moment (Lu Yu being an unexpected addition), I’m happy I got him. 😏 Especially with that pose. It’s so funny seeing him in a debate line up just chilling there with a steaming pot of tea. 🤣
Anyway, back to the event itself, I really liked the game for this one. I think I only had one, maybe two not perfect scores. Which added to the ease of accumulating massive amounts of points so quickly and easily. But I didn’t spend the ingots to claim first place. After my fourth recharge and having purchased everything from the shop, I just didn’t want to drop anymore ingots for potential fruits. So I finished in fifth, not spending anymore more ingots beyond day three of the event.
I’m thrilled they brought the event to the states so soon after it launched in Asia, and I’m really looking forward to DOM so I can finally activate this dress. 😍
