I’m not entirely shocked that I’m still playing LOP going on two years now, but still I can’t believe it’s been two years!!! 😆
And at first when I found out the games were exactly the same as last year, I was a little disappointed. I did not do well the first week of games, which I now chalk up to it being so late in my pregnancy for baby number two. And also with the survey that went out after the entirety of the event was over last year, I assumed the feed back would warrant NOT bringing back the horse back riding game and the spot the nearly impossible differences. 🤦🏻♀️
(Side note: I don’t know about you, but that lady on the left perfectly describes how I feel about this one. 😅🤣)
And I was wrong... On both accounts. Even though I went into the first week thinking I was going to absolutely suck, I actually ended up getting perfect scores on the horse back riding game multiple times a day. 😅
I also found referencing the spot the difference answers right before playing each round of that game super helpful this year too. In fact, I did so well, that I ended up going for Duke Zhi’s outfit in addition to the new partner and firework boudoir. (Yeah, I know, although as a general rule I can’t stand the partner skinz, his just looked really cool.)
While I was thoroughly pleased with part one of the anniversary event this year, the second part was a little meh for me. Mostly because I forgot how uneven the point distribution is for the DDR game, in that it given in single denominations instead of fives. I am also pretty sure they slowed the DDR game down to an awkward pace and got rid of all the doubles! I mean I always scored above 280 on the game this year, but man I did so much better at it last year! 😒Not that it was a complete loss, I was able to have more than enough points to snag the outfit, title and then the card. And just cause, I picked up a couple extra potential fruits. Can never have too many of those babies lying around. 😂
I didn’t win anything special in the lucky draw event. No biggie to me. I’m happy for all the additional in-game items I collected. 🙈 Though I did think the event was a nice thing for them to do for all us players. If only I had the time to post last two weeks, I could’ve utilized Bonbon for advertising. 😂
Not that this pertains to the anniversary event itself, but it was also during the two week celebration that I finally claimed Matron Rong and Shangguan from CS debate. So yes, I now have three new partners that I am leveling up and slowly but surely expanding my debate help seats. (Two down, one to go. Need. More. Ingots!!)
Anyway, all in all, I thought it was a great 2nd anniversary. I’m looking forward to another year with you LOP, so let’s make it the best one yet. 😆
Oh almost forgot, I both loved and hated the anniversary recap video. There were many parts where I was like “😳 I did what?!” But what can I say I love LOP. Can’t wait to see what next years recap says. 😏
